The state of the art Teranex 3RU uses a processor on every pixel to upconvert SD material for incorporation into HD projects. Using its patented “Flexview” technology it expands 4:3 SD material to 16:9 HD without the distorted or stretched look of other widescreen HD conversions. Teranex further offers the best possible conversions of all video/film formats, from varying frame rates and aspect ratios to different regional formats, including: Up, & Down conversions - to and from – 23.98- 24p/25p/30p/50i/60i; Cross Conversions between 720p/1080p/1080i HDCAM, D-5 or DVCProHD; and PAL/NTSC Standards conversions from DigiBeta, BetaSP, IMX, BetaSX, DVCAM and MiniDV. HDV material is upconverted to HD-SDI via Firewire using the Miranda HD Bridge.
